More likely than not, you’ve of heard of Evernote. In case you haven’t, it is a cloud-based note taking tool that is sweeping the teaching world by storm. It lets you take notes, synchronize files across your devices, save web pages, capture inspiration, and share your ideas with friends and colleagues.
It is an iOS app for either your iPhone or iPad, so Evernote is always on the move with you and will be there when you need it.It has the ability to read .PDF, .PPT (PowerPoint) and .DOC (Word) files. You can also import pictures and audio to your note files.
This is a perfect app for students as they can create several ‘notebooks’ which can be allocated to individual subjects.
You can create a free account which will suffice for most users; but, if you require more space, you can upgrade to greater sharing options and access to note history (plus a few more additional perks) for £35 a year.
